Tuesday’s story is about Jesus’ first miracle – turning water into wine at a wedding.
What a great party! The wedding was over and the bride and groom’s families and friends were enjoying the party food and the wine. Jesus and his mother
Mary were there too.
Mary was watching everything. She saw jugs of wine being poured out. She saw the servants worried faces.
“Jesus,” she said. “They’ve run out of wine to drink.”
She knew that Jesus would help.

Jesus saw six big stone jars against the wall.
He told the servants, “Fill those stone jars with water.”
Then he said, “Now take some water and give it to the man in charge.”
So they filled the stone jars with water. Then they took some water to the man in charge.
“Delicious,” he said. “That’s the best wine I’ve ever tasted!”
Jesus had turned the water into wine! No ordinary person could do that!
But Jesus could because he is God’s son.
