Beach Club 2018 begins with the sun pouring down on the mound. Shortly after 10:00am, hundreds of people began arriving on the beach.
All Set…
Starting at 6:30am, our team of (really eager!) early-morning volunteers built all our beach venues, including the Mound, 0-3, 4-6, 7-10 and 11+ venues. We took special care to make sure each of the group venues had sufficient shade to keep people cool in the heat of the day.

Both of our sessions on the mound this morning were filled with action-packed songs and the first of the ‘Where’s the Crab’ and ‘Ultimate Beach Club Leader’ competitions.
Learning about Peter…
Our story of the day is “Peter: Follow Me”, where Jesus called on a group of fishermen to trust in him, and become ‘fishers of men’.
